All submissions must be in Arial, font size 12, spacing 1.5 and justified.
As this is a multi-disciplinary journal, submissions must conform to either the OSCOLA or Harvard referencing systems.
All the word limits are inclusive of referencing.
All submissions must be accompanied with an abstract of not more than 10% of the word limit.
Co-authorship is allowed to a maximum of two (2) authors.
The author(s) bear sole responsibility for the accuracy of facts, opinions or view stated in the submitted manuscript. In case of any gross plagiarism found in the contents of submitted manuscript, the manuscript shall be subject to rejection.
If the author wishes to submit a previously marked piece of work with the academic feedback counting towards the peer review process (as one peer reviewer), evidence of the marker’s feedback and that feedback’s implementation should be provided with the submission.
Student Work for Publication
Any student can submit a piece of work to peer-reviewed. That includes those that sit on the editorial board and those that are peer-reviewers.
If a student is submitting for publication work which has been already submitted as part of an assessment, they can elect to count the marker’s feedback towards the peer review process provided the feedback has been implemented. Students must work through that work based on the feedback provided and provide evidence of the feedback and its implementation alongside their submission. Marked work where the editors or editor-in-chief are satisfied that this process is complied with will only require one additional peer review prior to publication (rather than the usual two).
Any student from any stage or programme within the schools of Law and Criminology can submit work.
